This album was put together in 2004. This picture is of a very old structure in a plaza reached after a short hill climb in beautiful and scenic Marburg, Germany.

Many of the songs on this album were composed around the time of my visits there. The instrumental compositions contain solo guitar, keyboard, percussion, and synth parts, such as the trombone.

Trombone and trumpet are two of my favorite instruments. But since I do not actually play horns, the synthesizer gives me some help. Each part of a song was recorded using Roland digital multi-track recording technology. All songs are solo produced pieces.

MUSIC FORMAT OR GENRE ? If I were to put these songs or type of music into a category, that would be "jazz and rock instrumental" in format.

VOCALS ? WHAT ?! On track 4, Chrystal Clear is the only recorded vocal attempt I have ever made, a this cameo song appearance added some fun. It is full of foibles, gaffes and abberations, so I will seek out real vocalists in future tracks!

FAVORITE GUITARISTS? Jango Reinhart ,Joe Pass, John McLaughlin, Lary Coryell, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Pat Metheny, Pat Martino, Mark Knopfler.

1. Touch ' Go

2. Sad and True  It does have a sad tone to it, and I so named it.

3.Miles and Away Inspired by Miles Davis' album, Trubute to Jack Johnson. In the song "Right Off" John McLaughlin takes off Miles with this long guitar mantra..

4. Chrystal Clear
An early attempt at multi-part vocal songwriting

Got a world, a world of trouble now - got a world on my mind.

Do you see any trouble there, have you read the stars

Have they any messages for you, it's all clear to me, chrystal clear to me.

There's a way to work it out now, there's a way to keep it movin'.

Do you see any trouble there, have you read the stars

Have they any messages for you, it's all clear to me, chrystal clear to me.

Once a cold, cold war loomed. Now the mode takes us back in time.

Do you see any trouble there, have you read the stars

Have they any messages for you, it's all clear to me, chrystal clear to me.

5. Oh !

6. Trombone Way  A proper up and up trombone jam to push ahead with.

7. Pom Pom Girl   She is at once beautiful, powerful, mysterious, flying through thin air, and man-slayer.

8. Noyes Street  No. Yes. A street in Evanston, Illinois.

9. Nowhere Soon

10. Surf Street
