Azalea may take you back to the rock
and roll 1960s, that is, if you were around then. Azalea features a lead organ like the
Hammond B3. The song features a bass guitar lead part played on the Fender Jazz Bass. Lead guitar is a Fender Telecaster, and the acoustic is an Applause with Boss effects processing.
Let’s
Go is an energy song. This tune borrows from the guitar sounds
of the Allman Brothers Band. This kind of music dominated in our fraternity
house in the 1970s. In Let’s Go, the lead guitar was played on the Fender Telecaster with a lot of sustain and compression.
Rows of Corn This song name comes from the visual of endless rows of corn viewed from a vehicle cruising down a highway.
Rows has a sound of an acoustic lead / rhythm guitar inspired by the work of the great Dave Matthews.
Surfin’ Turf a play on words, was named for the variety of styles found in the song. Like the variety found in a "Surf & Turf" meal. With the drum shuffle and the 60’s rock organ, Surfin’ Turf delivers a whimsical combination of country-tex-blues-rock-carib…a
musical potpourri. Turn this one up and you will also hear a steel drum and rattles.
